Last year, we welcomed Kimberly Larson and Jon Cargille as our inaugural award recipients with the 2010 Real Awards. At the time, none of us were quite sure what the impact would be — would it be just another night? another party to be filed into the memory banks of those of us old enough to have memories chock-full of countless other parties? or would it be notable, memorable, perhaps even life-changing?
None of us really knew, but with the benefit of hindsight, we have a little better insight into what the coming year will hold for this year’s recipients.
